Best Whitewater River Rafting Near Lake George, Colorado
The Arkansas River is the best whitewater rafting river in Colorado and within short driving distance from our Lodge. The river drops 5,000 feet in its first 125 miles from headwaters in the Colorado Rockies near the Continental Divide. Rafting sections flow through Buena Vista and down to the planes near Canon City. Both towns have a variety of whitewater outfitters from which to choose.
