Pet Policies

We Are Pet Friendly!

At Mountain River Lodge we love dogs! We know sometimes leaving your best friend behind is not an option.  Please add your pet on when booking online or emailing us so we can do that for you.

Hotel Pet Policy

We are excited to welcome your fur baby to Mountain River Lodge. Here are the following requirements for guests visiting with pets:

Please read ahead of booking to prevent incurring fees.

  • Pets must be 2+ years of age, max of 2.
  • Crating is highly encouraged when you leave the unit or at night time.
  • Dogs that bark cannot be left alone in the cabins. If they are barking and disturbing neighbors, we will ask you to board your pups.
  •  Please always clean up after your pets, even outside. Poo must be immediately bagged and disposed of. A $50 fine will be charged if the cleaner has to spend extra time picking up puppy poo in the yard.
  • Please keep pets off furniture.

VERY IMPORTANT: I may not be able to host your pet if there is a delay on paying your pet fee as it depends on my cleaner’s availability to accommodate a pet clean. Pet fees are fully refundable up to 5 days before your stay.

The fee is: $75 flat fee for up to 5 nights, then $15 per night after.

If your stay exceeds five days, I will request the additional pet fee. Please pay it within 48 hours of booking to ensure that I can add your pet to the reservation.

PLEASE NOTE: Any property damage or pet accidents result in forfeiture of all/partial security deposit ($250) and potential further action. Owner and management company reserve the right to verify pet count, age and animal presence in person at the cabin during daytime hours, if needed.

We appreciate you for following the rules so the space can be enjoyed by future guests!

You will be required to agree to the pet policy that includes conditions such as accepting responsibility for all/any damages incurred to Mountain River Lodge during your stay. We kindly ask you to adhere to keeping your dogs on a leash, cleaning up after them, and ensuring the safety of other visitors. If you have additional questions about our pet policy at Mountain River Lodge, please email us.
