South Park Ice Masters (Trout Only) Event
The South Park Ice Masters (Trout Only) event, is the second contest of the 2018 Colorado Classic Pro-AM Ice Fishing Tournament series. This specific event will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018, and is hosted by Eleven Mile Sports. Early check-in is available all-day Friday, regular check-in starts Saturday at 4 am, and the contest begins at 7 am sharp!
The tournament will consist of up to 150 two-man teams, including both Professional and Amateur divisions. Each team will be allowed to weigh in a total of two trout for a combined total weight, as well as enter into the Big Fish Pot. The top 15 teams will also be awarded cash prizes! However, points are earned throughout the entire tournament and will be revealed at the final event in March!
Fishing Reports
Fishing for Trout on Lake George has been very good, compared to salmon and pike lately. Many fish have been spotted between the 18-21-inch range, but we are sure there are much bigger ones out on the prowl!
